In celebration of the festive season, Discovery Bay will unveil a thoughtfully curated outdoor Christmas market, offering a heartwarming winter experience filled with joy, charm, and purpose. Set against a scenic backdrop, guests are invited to share unforgettable moments with loved ones in an atmosphere that captures the spirit of togetherness and holiday magic.

 

From 25 to 28 December, the open-air piazza at DB Plaza will be transformed into a charming Italian-inspired winter market, beautifully adorned with twinkling string lights and quaint wooden chalets that bring the magic of Christmas to life.

 

The market will feature a curated lineup of nearly 50 beloved brands, offering an eclectic array of gourmet delicacies, fine wines, artisanal confections, packaged treats, handcrafted goods, aromatherapy items, and pet accessories. A number of social enterprises, NGOs, and charitable groups will also take part, showcasing meaningful gifts imbued with care and purpose. Guests are invited to savour festive flavours while selecting heartfelt presents that convey warmth and holiday blessings to their loved ones.

 

In addition, all stall rental proceeds from the Discovery Bay Winter Wonderland Christmas Market 2025 will be donated in full, with no costs deducted, to support residents affected by the recent fire in Tai Po. This meaningful initiative aims to extend love and blessings to the wider community and transform compassion into action. By giving back during the festive season, the market transcends celebration, standing as a heartfelt expression of hope, generosity, and social responsibility that enriches the significance of Christmas.

 

Beyond the vibrant market stalls, Discovery Bay will be adorned with enchanting Christmas decorations and magical photo spots. As night falls, dazzling light projections and gentle snowfall will transform the piazza into a winter wonderland, creating a heartwarming festive atmosphere for families and loved ones. On 25 and 26 December, Santa Claus will make a surprise appearance to greet children and distribute gifts. The celebration continues with captivating magic shows, delightful kids dance performances, and high-energy rope-skipping show. Pets are welcome too, so bring along your furry friends and celebrate the season with joy and togetherness.

 

On Boxing Day, 26 December, DB North Plaza will come alive with “Best Music. Best Taste @DB”, a special holiday performance featuring a stellar lineup. TVB’s “Midlife, Sing & Shine!” season one çhampion Albert Chau and second runner-up Ramon Lo will take the stage, joined by up‑and‑coming girl groups Beanies and IdG Bubbles. Get ready to soak in the uplifting atmosphere as these talented performers share warmth and festive cheer through music.

 

A vibrant mix of nearly 50 treasured brands will gather at the Discovery Bay Christmas Market. Highlights include the ever-popular Water Gate Chicken Rice, known for its authentic Thai-style Hainanese chicken and grilled skewers; crowd-favourite Korean eatery Joo Korean Grill & Bar; locally brewed craft beer from DB Brew; and Say Hey Bakery, where tradition meets creativity. Matcha lovers can indulge in MatchaMallow, while fans of whimsical design will enjoy the sweet aesthetics of MaBean. Pet owners can find stylish essentials at Turtle Fabric, and lovers of traditional artistry can explore Suzhou embroidery creations by Black Tortoise. From gourmet bites and specialty coffee to handcrafted accessories, home goods, pet items, and socially-conscious products, the market offers a diverse experience for all. There will also be a bonsai workshop and creative face-painting services, ensuring a joyful experience for visitors of all ages and interests.

 

From 25 to 28 December, the public can enjoy an exclusive free ferry ride to Discovery Bay. Starting now until January 1 2026, on weekends and public holidays, passengers can board the 11:30am designated sailing from Central Pier 3 to Discovery Bay free of charge. On Sundays and public holidays, this free service will also extend to Discovery Bay North. Simply tap your Octopus card at the gate to enjoy this offer.
