The list expanded to the Hong Kong and Macau region last year. This year, Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong is honoured to be among the 18 distinguished hotels in Hong Kong, while The Sukhothai Shanghai proudly stands out as one of the only three hotels recognised in the vibrant and highly competitive Jing’an district in Shanghai.

This year’s "Must-Stay List" celebrates hotels that excel in consistent quality, value-for-money, and unique guest experiences. Dianping’s upgraded selection process used AI-powered analysis of real reviews, evaluating not just traditional factors like service and cleanliness, but also deeper details that shape a truly comfortable stay, such as room ambience, breakfast quality, policies and beyond.

The Sukhothai Spa, the spa facility of The Sukhothai Bangkok, was awarded fourth place among Thailand’s Best Hotel Spas at the T+L Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2025, organised by globally renowned travel magazine “Travel + Leisure”.
