The Nextwave Beach Music Festival, jointly organised by Nextwave Yachting and Yiu Wing Live, was a roaring success. The event was held at Tai Pak Beach in Discovery Bay from 5 to 6 Jul and drew several thousand spectators each day, featuring  top music talents from Hong Kong, Korea, and Taiwan. Highlights included performances by popular local singer Joey Hung Ka Ho, Mandopop sensation Eric Chou - the first in the genre to surpass 100 million views on YouTube, the hugely popular Korean girl group ITZY, and the talented Korean singer Chung Ha.

This year's stage design and visual effects were more spectacular than ever. Discovery Bay’s specially designed LED flashing handheld fans as giveaways drew positive feedback from the public.
