On 25 July, HKRI Taikoo Hui launched a summer edition of its flagship market programme Dare Mart Night Voyage, which is a signature event of the inaugural Jing’an District Nightlife Season. Inspired by the spirit of sailing adventures and beachside holidays, Dare Mart Night Voyage thoughtfully features sunshades, lounge chairs and lighting installations, transforming the outdoor market into an elegant urban retreat. The relaxing, holiday-like setting not only enriches visitor experience but also supports Shanghai’s night-time economy.

The market showcases a selection of summer desserts from international brands. Highlights include the century-old Italian chocolatier Venchi, Belgium’s prestigious royal chocolate house Pierre Marcolini, and the artisanal French ice cream maker LUNEURS. To further elevate summer indulgence, The Sukhothai Shanghai presents its signature handmade Thai-style hotdog. During the first weekend, the market featured Silent Disco sessions and open-air film screenings, setting the tone for a festive summer.
