The third Discovery Bay Open Water Race Challenge held on 31 August was a roaring success. Organised by Open Water Series Hong Kong with full support from Discovery Bay, this event drew an impressive turnout of over 700 individuals, representing a double from last year.

Swimmers took on solo races of 3.8km, 1.7km, and 400m, along with exciting 400m relay events. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Discovery Bay’s scenic coastline, including iconic beaches like Tai Pak Beach and Sam Pak Wan, the day offered a thrilling mix of competitive spirit and family-friendly fun.
