From now to 1 January, step into a dreamy, Italian-inspired wonderland as Discovery Bay brings the beauty of Italy to life this festive season. At DB Plaza, a sparkling glasshouse welcomes guests to capture picture-perfect moments. Over at DB North Plaza, a stunning 20-metre golden castle has been seamlessly integrated with the DB North Tower. In front of the tower, a photo spot inspired by Rome’s iconic Fontana della Barcaccia (Fountain of the Boat) at Piazza di Spagna adds a touch of Italian elegance, all adorned with exquisite Christmas décor.
The festive charm continues along the D’Deck promenade at DB Plaza and the Love Lock promenade at DB North Plaza, where twinkling lights and luminous displays, reminiscent of wandering through an enchanting Italian town, create a magical atmosphere. From 22 November to 1 January, on weekends, Christmas Eve, and public holidays, two afternoon sessions of artificial winter snow will be staged at the main entrance of DB North Plaza and DB Plaza, enriching the festive celebrations.
8,000 Free Ferry Journeys for DB Christmas Festivities
During the festive seasons, Discovery Bay will offer 8,000 free ferry journeys. Celebrate the holidays with free ferry rides* from Central Pier 3 to Discovery Bay on weekends, Christmas Eve and public holidays, 22 November 2025 to 1 January 2026, departing at 11:30am. On Sundays and public holidays, it also stops at DB North Plaza. (*One time slot and one-way only. Subject to ferry capacity on a first-come, first-served basis. The free service on 24 December will depart at 11:40 am.)
Discovery Bay has curated a distinguished programme of live music performances for this year’s celebrations. “The Hitswave Prelude 2025”, presented by Metro Broadcast and fully supported by Discovery Bay, will take place on 14 December at DB North Plaza. The event will feature a diverse line-up of leading artists performing their hit songs of the year, serving as a prelude to the “Metro Radio Hits Music Awards”. Additionally, on 26 Dec, TVB’s “Midlife, Sing & Shine!” season one champion Albert Chau and third-place winner Ramon Lo, along with the emerging girl groups Beanies and IdG Bubbles, will deliver a spectacular live performance at DB North Plaza, elevating the festive atmosphere to new heights.
From 25 to 28 Dec, a grand Italian-style Christmas Market featuring festive crafts, fine wines and gourmet treats in charming wooden huts will take place at DB Plaza, inviting visitors to revel in the holiday spirit.

KMB Pet Bus Arrived at Discovery Bay
From 6 December, the KMB Pet Bus will stop at Discovery Bay. On weekends, two routes will be available: one departing Saturdays from Tai Po via Pak Shek Kok and Sha Tin; and another departing on Sundays from Kai Tak via Whampoa and the West Kowloon Cultural District, with Discovery Bay as the destination. Holders of the KMB Pet Bus monthly pass can enjoy unlimited rides on these routes during the validity period, making it easy for pet owners to bring their furry companions to celebrate Christmas together in Discovery Bay.
