On 24 November, a government delegation from Shanghai Xuhui District, led by Mr. Cao Liqiang, Secretary of the CPC Xuhui District Committee; together with Mr. Wang Hua, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Xuhui District Committee and District Mayor; Mr. Li Xinhua; and Mr. Huang Chong, visited HKRI Taikoo Hui, the Group’s Shanghai flagship project.

The delegation was welcomed by Ms. Connie Ting, Joint General Manager of HKRI Taikoo Hui, along with government representatives from the Jing’an District, including Mr. Zhong Xiaoyong, Secretary of the CPC Jing'an District Committee; Mr. Gu Yunhao, Director of the Leading Party Members’ Group of the Standing Committee of Jing’an District People’s Congress; Mr. Chen Zhizhong, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jing'an District Committee and Political Commissar of the People's Armed Forces Department of Jing'an District; and Mr. Song Dajie, Vice-Chair of the Leading Party Members Group of the CPPCC Shanghai Jing’an District Committee.

The delegation toured HKRI Taikoo Hui’s pioneering service and experiential offerings, including the Instant Tax Refund services and “The VERS Immersive Exploration Center by The Multiverse Project”. They gained insights into Jing’an District’s initiatives to advance cross-sectoral collaborations across culture, tourism, commerce, sports and exhibitions.
