Lighting Ceremony and Parade

Discovery Bay kicked off its "Winter Wonderland” Christmas celebrations on 21 November with a lighting ceremony and parade at DB North Plaza. The event was officiated by Mr. Victor Cha, Executive Chairman of the Group, along with the company management team; Mr. Kwok Ka Wa, Vice President of CITIC Pacific Limited; and Mr. Jeffrey Ngai, famous singer-actor, spreading love and hope during this winter. With radiant lights creating a festive atmosphere, hundreds of guests and members of the public gathered to enjoy a grand parade of over 100 people, and immerse themselves in Jeffrey’s captivating performance.

The Hitswave Prelude 2025 by Metro Broadcast

Discovery Bay has curated a distinguished programme of live music performances for this year’s celebrations. “The Hitswave Prelude 2025”, presented by Metro Broadcast and fully supported by Discovery Bay, took place on 14 December at DB North Plaza. The event featured over 20 leading artists and groups performing their hit songs of the year, serving as a prelude to the “Metro Radio Hits Music Awards” on 27 December.

Renowned singers graced the stage, including Jason Chan, Vincy Chan, Cath Wong, Feanna Wong, Simon On, Aska Cheung, Yumi Chung, Windy Zhan, Lagchun, Michael C, Felix Lam, Andy Lai, Dark Wong, Arvin Tsang, Irene Lam, XiX, Janees Wong, Regent Lam, Vince Leung, Honey Punch, and FYP.

The event was filled with enthusiasm, drawing in numerous fans and media participation. The singers not only performed professionally but also personally inscribed heartfelt messages on love locks, offering words of encouragement to residents affected by the Tai Po fire, reflecting a genuine sense of community compassion. 

Additionally, Discovery Bay will unveil an outdoor Christmas market from 25 to 28 December at the Open Piazza of DB Plaza. On Boxing Day, 26 December, DB North Plaza will come alive with “Best Music. Best Taste @DB”, a special holiday performance featuring a stellar lineup. TVB’s “Midlife, Sing & Shine!” season one champion Albert Chau and second runner-up Ramon Lo will take the stage, joined by up‑and‑coming girl groups Beanies and IdG Bubbles, sharing warmth and festive cheer through music.
