Discovery Bay is dedicated to fostering a pet-friendly community, with pet-welcoming shopping malls and facilities. In May 2025, the first DB Pet Bus service was launched, connecting various areas of Hong Kong to Discovery Bay. Starting from 9 February 2026, KMB’s Pet Bus will add drop-off and pick-up points in Discovery Bay with a daily route from West Kowloon Cultural District to Discovery Bay via Nam Cheong, Tsing Yi and Ma Wan.
Discovery Bay continues to create boundless possibilities for shared enjoyment between pet owners and their furry friends. From leisurely strolls through the Weekend Market to exploring scenic hiking trails, Discovery Bay provides the perfect environment for pets to stay active, and ideal settings for owners to capture memorable moments. The pristine white Pavilion and the romantic Love Lock Promenade in DB North, both offer an elegant backdrop to create cherished memories.
Every weekend, a designated area for pets is set up on the lawn outside DB Plaza that features toys for play. This pet zone will allow pet owners to engage in training games with their furry friends, strengthening their bond.
