The highly anticipated annual “Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt on the Beach & Carnival” is set to return on 3-4 April with the largest scale in years, attracting over 5,000 families and promoting the Mega Events economy. Now in its 19th year, the event will lead 5,000 children to search for colourful Easter eggs on the beautiful Tai Pak Beach, exchanging them for over 70,000 exquisite prizes and special grand prizes, valued at over HK$1.5 million in total.
To encourage families staying in Hong Kong and to boost local spending during the Easter holiday, Discovery Bay will transform Tai Pak Beach and DB Plaza into a large amusement park on 3-4 April. In addition to the egg hunt game, a giant inflatable bouncy castle and various inflatable game booths will be set up at the plaza for participating families to enjoy for free. During 3-6 April, DB North Plaza will also be turned into a "Giant Easter Eggs Funland", featuring charming inflatable egg displays perfect for family photos.
Egg Hunters will be divided into different age groups: 3-4 years old, 5-6 years old, and 7-10 years old. Every Easter egg found at the beach can be exchanged for a Small Egg Prize, while discovering a Grand Egg offers a chance to win a Special Grand Prize valued at over HK$1,000!
This year, children from local low-income families will be invited to participate in the "Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt on the Beach & Carnival" for free, bringing parents and children closer for a cheerful and joy-filled Easter.
