Angry Molly Unveiled at HKRI Taikoo Hui in Shanghai

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of POP MART’s beloved toy character MOLLY, Angry Molly is being showcased at the South Garden of HKRI Taikoo Hui, the Group’s Shanghai flagship project. Presented for the first time as a largescale matrix of fiberglass sculptures until 5 May, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in her bursts of emotions, alongside her delightfully loveable character.

This immersive public art space features nearly 20 rainbowhued fiberglass sculptures of Angry Molly, transforming the venue into a vibrant and highly photogenic hotspot. Originally created in 2006 by Hong Kong artist Mr. Kenny Wong, MOLLY has since evolved into Angry Molly - a distinctive extension of the character that embodies vitality through its spirited expression of “anger”. Symbolising an ignited life force, Angry Molly projects authenticity, passion, and a heartfelt, genuine love for life.
