Community Engagement: Two Decades of Support for “Caring Company”

Having supported the “Caring Company” initiative for two decades, the Group was conferred the “20 Years PLUS Caring Company Logo” and “Advanced Performance” commendation by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, underscoring the Group’s long‑standing dedication to community care and corporate social responsibility.

Additionally, Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong received the “10 Years PLUS Caring Company Logo” and was acknowledged as an “Actively Participated”, while Discovery Bay Recreation Club earned its first “Actively Participated” recognition, reflecting the concerted commitment of the Group’s business units to community engagement.

Environmental Management and Community Participation: Two Golds in Hong Kong Outstanding Green Management Award

Discovery Bay’s “City Management” property management team and HKR Limited, each secured Gold at the “Hong Kong Outstanding Green Management Award” organised by Greeners Action. The Group has consistently advanced initiatives in waste reduction at source, energy and water conservation, waste separation and recycling and stakeholder collaboration. Regular eco‑workshops, community recycling days and green seminars have embedded ESG principles into the DB community, fostering a sustainable future.

City Management also actively promotes staff volunteerism, encouraging care for diverse groups in the community to strengthen solidarity. For three consecutive years, it has received the “Caring Estate” award under the “Hong Kong Volunteer Award,” jointly organised by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Agency for Volunteer Service.

Green Office: Advancing Environmental and Employee Well‑being

The Group and CDW Building were presented with the “Green Office Label” and “Eco-Healthy Workplace Label” awards by World Green Organisation’s Green Office & Eco-Healthy Workplace Awards Labelling Scheme, affirming its commitment to environmental stewardship and employee wellness.
