Sustainable development is integral to the Group’s operations. Last year, we earned a “Silver Award” at the “UNSDGs Hong Kong Achievements Awards” for the Group and its business units’ environmental initiatives. This year, thanks to the invitation of Green Council, we shared at an industry seminar how the Group effectively implements the SDGs to create a greener, more liveable community that balances environmental, social and economic values. 

Ms. Jamie Ma, Associate Senior Manager of Corporate Communications and ESG, highlighted the Group’s key sustainability strategies, operations, education and promotions. Using Discovery Bay as a case study, multiple eco-initiatives were featured, including electric vehicle adoption, low-carbon transport, clean energy, green community, resource conservation, biodiversity protection and community education. From waste reduction and resource recycling to a comprehensive closed-loop management system, Discovery Bay has established itself as a benchmark for the creation of a sustainable and liveable community.
